Day 1 – Makandura - Notary's House

Arrival in Sri Lanka. Day at leisure for you to rest and relax. You can relax by the hotel poolside or explore the village in bicycles. You will be staying at Notary's house, a small boutique hotel located close to the Airport.

Day 2 and 3 - Kandy - Kandy house

You will be exploring the town of Kandy with a lady guide. Visit the various markets and learn of the history of the various iconic buildings in the town. The sacred Temple of Tooth, Kandy lake, Queens bathing pavilion, Royal audience hall, Kandy town hall, presidents house and heritage building inside the Bogambara prison are some of the interesting sites that you will be visiting. Your guide will relate some of the fascinating stories that may have happened in the bygone era. Drive up the mountain for the 'view point' a breathtaking spot where you can have a bird's eye view of the city of Kandy and take some photographs too. Evening, witness a traditional Kandyan dance performance with music and drumming. You will have plenty of leisure time during these days for you to relax and enjoy the hotel surroundings as well. You will be staying at Kandy house, a unique ancestral manor house converted to a boutique hotel.

Day 4, 5 and 6 - Dambulla - Trincomalee - Jungle Beach

Visit the Dambulla cave temple. This temple was built in the 1st century B.C and is a world heritage site. You will have plenty of leisure time during these days to enjoy the sun and sand of the of the Trincomalee beach. You can visit the Fort Fredrick, hot springs in Kanniya or indulge in a snorkeling experience in the Pigeon island during your free time. You will be staying at Jungle Beach, a luxurious coastal resort located on the Trincomalee beach.

Day 7, 8 and 9 - Sigiriya - Anuradhapura - Ulagalla

Hike to the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress a past capital of an ancient king in the island. Set on a sightseeing tour in Anuradhapura by bicycles to explore the ancient temples and ruins of the past capital of Sri Lanka. You will have plenty of leisure time during these days to relax and unwind by the hotel poolside and to enjoy the hotel facilities. You will be staying at Ulagalla, a luxury boutique hotel spread across a 58 acre lush green garden.

Day 10 - Negombo - The Walawwa

Day at leisure for you to relax and rest. Explore the rural area or indulge in a Sri Lankan cookery demonstration with the hotel chef. You will be staying at the Walawwa, a restored colonial manor house sitting on a beautifully landscaped garden which is close to the Airport.
